QSB - CONSTRUCTION BOARD® (P5) E1
Description
High resistant single-layer construction board is made from special selected chips, which guarantee compactness and high density of the boards in the whole cut of thickness. During the production, high quality MUF glue as binding material is used, which allows usage of the boards in humid conditions.
Dimensions
Technical parameters
Usage QSB
QSB boards are suitable as load-bearing construction elements for inside usage in humid conditions
priming boards
roof covers
boxing material
production of packages and containters
decorative usage in interiors with the possibility of same-surface modification as wood has
furniture and building industry
QSB boards advantages
minimal format tolerances
small quantity of joints during installation
toughness, firmness, uniformity
boards are suitable for sawing, paring, drilling and other shaping
by using QSB boards it is possible to create all construction joints for wood characteristics
high work effectiveness with QSB board
use in humid conditions of 2 class according to ENV 1995-1-1
harmless towards health – emission grade E1
Handling
It is necessary to avoid:
- Edges, corners and surface damage, use handling equipment like lift truck forks, ropes and the like;
- Displacement of the stacked boards
- Boards having direct contact with water
Placement - Boards must be placed on a level surface, wedged with at least four cross bands
along the whole width of the board.
- The cross bands must be of the same height and must be placed parallel with the edge.
- The first cross band must be placed at most 150 mm from the edge of board and the space between bands must be 600 mm at most.
- When stacking the packages of boards, individual packages must be spaced by some cross bands so that they are above each other, so the stored boards cannot be deformed. In the case when the boards are stored on the shelves, they must be protected against flexion strain and other deformation (e.g. by bearing pallet with a flat surface).
- The boards must not be stored leaning against a wall until the boards and edges are sufficiently reinforced and shored up.
How to store the boards in the right way
Storage
Boards must be stored in circulated, roofed and thermo-stable wood-yards or warehouses, and it is necessary to protect them against direct radiant heat as well as prevent direct contact with the floor, wall or ceiling.
Waste treatment - recommendations
Wooden, otherwise unusable material: - Utilization as a fuel, or another source of energy, but only for this purpose designed combustion device and the wood material combustion device operation instructions are maintained = a kind of fuel, moisture…
- Wood mass utilization (e.g. wood cutting machine, chip crusher…)
Kronospan SK provides waste treatment by recycling of the row material for further utilization using its own machinery; through purchasers of wood mass; by its removal using its own transport capacity.
