Products of the company Kronospan comply with E 1-emission standards, which guarantee high protection of user’s health.
Kronospan Slovakia, s.r.o., as the first in Slovakia, was authorized to use FSC certificate for following products:
In 2001 we obtained the first
FSC certificate for beech wood edge-glued panels. This was followed by certificate’s extension to other wood pulp – oak, cherry wood, maple and ash.
FSC logo placed on the wood or wood product guarantee that such product is made of wood or contains sustainable sourced wood certified by FSC. Certified forest is noted for appropriate management practices adhering to the principle of sustainable development.
In May 2008 the company Kronospan in Prešov, as the first in Prešov region and the first manufacturer of large-surface materials based on wood in Slovakia, was authorized to use the label of
Environment-friendly products. The label applies on three wood-based products:
laminate chipboards with surface treatment, wall panelling and floating floorings.
