The ecology section has been created for all who look for information on our activities in the field of environment.
The company of Kronospan arrived in Slovakia in 1997 and fastened on to a long wood processing tradition in the region of Prešov. However, the relay baton, we took over from the company of Drevokombinát Šariš, was carrying a lot of negatives in the form of sources of environmental pollution. These were out of date technically, as well as morally.
We know you are concerned about your and your children’s health. As well as many of you, our company and its employees are residents of this region too. WE live here too… this is the brief expression of what our attitude towards the environmental protection is like. All what can influence people living in the vicinity of Kronospan’s production premises can influence us too. And that is why we approach to the protection of the environment seriously, in accordance with the principle of sustainable development, using the best available technologies. |
